The world’s only
By pulling back the curtains on modern watchmaking, we’re aiming to do away with industry short-cuts and cheap solutions. This commitment doesn’t make us the biggest, nor does it make us the fastest growing company, quite the contrary. But we believe that qualities like honesty and altruism are desperately needed these days.
Powering the automatic is the top grade Miyota Cal. 9015 high-beat movement.
This reliable 24 jewel automatic movement operates at 28,800 bph and features a 42 hour power reserve when fully wound. An automatic movement does not require battery because it is powered by kinetic energy created from the movement of your hand.
Sapphire glass is the number one component that luxury watches have in common.
It is scratch resistant and highly durable. Sapphire glass is available in the $4-$15 range. The price is determined by the hardness of the glass. Harder glass is more expensive to cut because the cutting blade is a diamond.
Our Italian leather straps are made from top grain leather.
Top grain leather comes from the smallest and least readily available part of the hide, but it is also the strongest. About 3/5 of the cost is the band material and the rest is due to stainless steel buckles and the rose gold coating that is applied to them.
Stainless steel case
Water resistant to 100 meters /10 bar (328 feet).
Steel cases are made up of a steel quality typically in the range of 304 to 916. The number does not necessarily reflect the product’s quality or price, but identifies the mixture of minerals. A top quality stainless steel case of this size costs $12.40 to produce.
The coating of our rose gold case is a mixture of pure gold and copper.
The plating on steel cases are measured in the thickness of uM, one uM is 1/1000 of a 1 mm. Our high grade electro enhanced PVD plating lasts basically forever.
The dial is made up of a thin metal plate with a light beige coating.
The components to any given dial costs about $2.70. The remaining cost is due to the precision needed to assemble the parts. This process requires specialised and expensive equipment.

Everything that I hoped it would be. Super nice quality and a timeless piece that will last forever!
Awesome watch, absolutely love it. Feels great and looks stunning!
Being a watch aficionado, I am not easily impressed with watches. However, every single thing in this timepiece oozes character. The case, the hands, the movement, the date window, the leather strap, the clasping mechanism! From the moment you put it on, you can't stop admiring the meticulousness with which every component of the timepiece has been designed and crafted. Wear it with formals & you can pull-off the classic Don Draper look. You will certainly be ogled at for wearing your gentle-manliness so stunningly on the wrist! Thank you Brathwait for giving us an exquisite timepiece. It rocks! Madhur Sharma
Amazing value and looks wonderful!
Really amazing watch - thanks to a fellow brathwait user for the recommendation
Beautiful watch, reasonably priced entry watch. The strap. it's the only drawback for guys with large wrists.
Looking forward to my watch
My previous watch was a dinky 35mm diameter so my first impression was that this watch seems huge in comparison, but I got used to it quickly. Build quality and finish is absolutely flawless. The automatic winding mechanism is quiet and the watch has a light, but not flimsy weight. As constructive feedback I would like to suggest that a blued large and small hand would work better and the date window could be 0.5mm larger, to prevent it looking a bit lost on the large clear dial. Overall though I like the elegant, minimalist but not derivative, unique design.
