I placed my order for the watch when it was out of stock, so I had to wait almost 2 months for it, but I definitely don't regret it. The watch is sleek, well-made and liked by all those around me.
I like their business model, and they have great products
It is a wonderful watch! I use it everyday.
I bought the Luminous Minimalist Steel watch and am again extremely happy with Brathwait’s quality for thand price. The luminous part hasn’t fully shown itself yet but maybe it’s not been dark enough!
Very nice timepiece. It fits into my collection very nicely.
Understated elegance to the max. Easy to read at a glance, and the luminescence is bright in low-light. This watch is everything that I was hoping it would be and a little more.
very stylish, high quality, love all my brathwait styles and the interchangeable straps make it easy to mix and match with the awesome watch bands available.
I really like this watch. I bought the minimalist luminous. I can see the time when it is dark. The domed glass looks great and it's unique. The simplistic face goes well with my brown and metal bands. Each other's bands are brathwait. I really like both bands. The metal is very comfortable. My only small complaint is that the material on the bottom side of the leather started coming up near the end of it. This happened within the first few days of wear although I've been careful with my watch every day. Even with that though, I still love the brown leather band.
The world’s only
By pulling back the curtains on modern watchmaking, we’re aiming to do away with industry short-cuts and cheap solutions. This commitment doesn’t make us the biggest, nor does it make us the fastest growing company, quite the contrary. But we believe that qualities like honesty and transparency are desperately needed these days.
Sapphire glass is the number one component that luxury watches have in common.
It is scratch resistant and highly durable. Sapphire glass is available in the $4-$15 range. The price is determined by the hardness of the glass. Harder glass is more expensive to cut because the cutting blade is a diamond.
Swiss quartz movement
Our Swiss made Ronda movement with small hand is the same movement that is used in $500+ quartz watches.
An inexpensive quartz movement costs below $2. An excellent quartz movement with shock resistance and extra long battery life of up to 40 months costs $30.
Stainless steel case
Water resistant to 100 meters /10 bar (328 feet).
Steel cases are made up of a steel quality typically in the range of 304 to 916. The number does not necessarily reflect the product’s quality or price, but identifies the mixture of minerals. A top quality stainless steel case of this size costs $12.40 to produce.
Our luminous dial consist of two domed dials mounted on top of one another.
The bottom dial is printed with Swiss Super Luminous paint that lights up through the top dial at night. Each dial costs about $2.70. The remaining cost is due to the precision needed to assemble the parts. This process requires specialised and expensive equipment.
The components and assembly of our stainless steel mesh straps and Italian leather strap costs $18,5
Top grain leather comes from the smallest and least readily available part of the hide, but it is also the strongest. Our mesh straps are made of 316L stainless steel. Both straps have a quick release function and are adjustable to fit any wrist - one size fits all.
